Since joining l’Institut français d’Oak Park in August 2020, Kathy handles marketing and writes the posts for l’Institut’s blog, Art de vivre. She earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and spent her junior year in Toulon, France. Kathy received a warm welcome from her French host family and has returned the favor by hosting them, their children, and their grandchildren on their visits to the United States. Her previous career in corporate and merchant banking included several years working at the Paris headquarters of BNP Paribas. She enjoyed exploring famous and less-known aspects of Paris and its environs and looks forward to doing so again.
Kathy believes in the power of sharing language and culture to bring people together based on her personal experience. In addition to studying and working in Europe, she was raised in the United States by immigrant parents in a bilingual environment and graduated from an international high school in Taiwan. She is pleased to support the mission of l’Institut as it expands and connects its community of Francophones.
